Telemedicine

For selective, non-urgent neurological evaluations, Dr. Ourmazdi will do remote consultation and follow-ups. Most insurances cover remote consultations as if they are in person/direct consultations, so there will be no change in your insurance coverage. For patients out of network or without insurance, we have a set fee charge at Medicare rates and there are no hidden costs or membership fees.

To schedule a telehealth visit with Dr. Ourmazdi, call us or contact us via email, describe your symptoms, and based on the appropriateness of consult and availability, we will schedule your appointment ASAP. At times we schedule patients after our normal office hours and or weekends if necessary, in order to provide better care to patients, as needed.

(These rates are subject to change, will notify you ahead of time)

Diagnostic Services

Our Diagnostic Services include a wide range of tests such as electroencephalogram (EEG), electromyogram and nerve conduction studies, and home sleep studies. In addition, based on individual patient requirements, we offer referral services for other tests such as MRI, CT scans, and PET scans, along with laboratory and genetic testing.

Electroencephalogram

An EEG is a non-invasive, painless test used to measure and record the electrical activity in your brain. It's primarily used to diagnose and monitor conditions such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, or to evaluate brain activity after a head injury.

Electromyogram and Nerve Conduction Studies

An electromyogram (EMG) measures the electrical activity of muscles at rest and during contraction. Nerve conduction studies measure how well and how fast the nerves can send electrical signals. These tests are used together to detect conditions affecting muscles and nerves, such as peripheral neuropathy or muscular dystrophy.

Referral Services for MRI, CT scans, and PET scans

These imaging services provide detailed images of structures within the body. MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) uses a magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of organs and tissues. CT (Computed Tomography) scan takes a series of X-ray images from different angles to produce cross-sectional images. PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scans use a radioactive substance to highlight areas of concern in detailed 3D images. These scans help diagnose conditions such as brain tumors, stroke, and other neurological disorders.

Home Sleep Studies

A home sleep study is a test taken in the comfort of your own home that records your activity during sleep. It's primarily used to diagnose sleep apnea and other sleep disorders, offering a more natural and less intrusive alternative to in-clinic sleep studies.
